Welcome to my blog, the likes of which you most probably found while searching for something more substantial. Well, fear not! I plan to use this blog to update the free world (those with computers anyway) on my first venture towards publication and beyond. Who knows, I may throw in a couple of my vegan rants, recipes, and pictures of my cats.
For now, here are the basics: I’m twenty-three years old, fresh out of college, entirely unpublished, and have just obtained an agent for my second completed manuscript. This is my first big leap into the literary world, made possible by Barbara Poelle over at the Irene Goodman Literary Agency.
My passion is for literary fiction, and lately I have been striving to maintain more of a commercial edge. Writing is my first love and has been a part of my life for literally as long as I can remember. It is my aspiration to write novels full time, and there’s no better place to start than my first represented manuscript. I’m only beginning to understand where things will move from here, and loving every moment of it!
